The Kitchen — Restaurant in Limington

The place has big shoes to fill as The Runway was one of the best breakfasts spots around until they moved further away to Cornish.

Little has changed in the appearance of the place. There is a new maitre d area on the Rt. 11 side while the other entrance is closed. The view to the kitchen has been restored and the garish Wuhan dividers over the booths have been removed.

The wait staff is very attentive and friendly; they definitely make you feel welcome. I might have given the food a C+ or a 3* as the home fries were hard and undercooked and the omlet a little bland and weak on meat and cheese but alas they have just opened and will most likely improve over time.

We are glad to see that the place has reopened, has much better turnaround time than the interim inhabitants, and that there was a steady stream of patrons and take-outs while we were there.

Update: not sure they are making it. The menu could have a few more options, some specials, and some lighter $$ amounts to attract families with children.The place was half empty at a peak time where there used to be waiting llines outside a...

I've been to The Kitchen quite a few times with my partner and friends. Today I went in with my girlfriend and sat in a booth. We love the waitstaff and the ladies are always so friendly. I love the pancakes and always make sure to get a side pancake to enjoy. The coffee is also great and definitely the kick I need to get going in the morning. My friend got the breakfast sandwiches and they looked delicious! We can't wait to come back and enjoy another great...

The corn beef hash was horrible, solidly the worst I have ever had!!! It was a mass of bland potatoes with some carrots and I think beets. There were 4 tiny chunks of tasteless corn beef and 3 more chunks of fat and if I’m not mistaken it was deep fried!!! Totally inedible!!! The place reeked of the pumice block they clean the grill with. What an expensive...
