Alejandro's — Restaurant in Lincoln Township

Inexperienced service aside (cause we've all been the young one at a new job), this place is still something else. Hostess was incredibly unfriendly when she greeted us. The food was ok, but for a place that "hand-cuts" their own steaks, they should really cook them to the correct temp. The only thing that was inedible were the onion rings, which I promptly sent back. When we received our bill, I was surprised to find the uneaten onion rings still on it. So I addressed it with the "manager" at the cash register, her response was to tell me, "you cant go into a place and sample the food, and expect not to pay for it"! Followed by "If you go to McDonalds, you cant just send it back if you dont like it".... Last I checked, actually, you can.... and get your money back too! I guess I see where the standard of comparison lies (I would give the win to McDonalds on customer service). Honestly to gripe over $4.50, on an $70 bill... as a fellow restauranteur, I have NEVER heard of something so ludacris! I recommend the Pizza Hut across the street!

Wanted to try something different and was driving to Ulysses already. Had been several years since have eaten here so decided to try Alejandro's again. We were seated almost immediately and drink orders taken. The menu has become more slimmed down options and a little on the higher side but with supply cost increasing not surprising. For a family of 4 was about $65. We ordered the combination plate, quesadillas, and stuffed sopapillas. The food was okay but not as good as used to be. The waitress never once came back to refill drinks during meal or ask how food was. She only returned to pick up plates and...

To my surprise, this restaurant did not want to substitute ingredients. However, the waitress was extremely kind and put up with my disbelief.

This restaurant employees were absolutely kind and patient and did not take me for annoying.

I highly recommend this place and assure you they will be patient with your impatience and serve you to the best of their ability -- at least that was my experience today.
