Boondocks Restaurant & Drive Thru — Restaurant in Lincoln Township

This place is a joke. A terrible joke. I have a family of 8 people and we have ordered here several times in the last year we've lived in the area. Always takeout. I would say 7 out of 8 times they screw up an order. This time I've had it. I called and placed an order for our family. One meal was completely missing when we got home (chicken tenders basket) and one order was messed up yet again. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and they gave a wrap. I called when I got home and opened up the boxes and figured out it was all wrong. The lady on the phone (Amber) says they don't have a buffalo chicken sandwich. I ask "you don't offer a sandwich because we've ordered it several times before." She says no.. they have the wrap and a sub.

1. uhh your menu on Facebook (only menu I can find online) says "Buffalo Chicken Sandwich or Wrap."
2. what do you think a sub is? Last I checked that's a type of sandwich.

So she says she'll put in the chicken and have them remake the buffalo chicken sandwich and I need to bring in the wrap. And then HANGS UP on me.

Seriously?? Amber desperately needs to take some customer service classes.

Then I get there, exchange the food and pick up my missing tenders.

I get home and the tenders are burnt to a crisp. They're NASTY. It looked like they had found the missing tenders they forgot to package and them put them back in the fryer and just cooked them to death.

Well to hell with these guys. I've given them way too many chances for nothing more than (at best) mediocre food (when it's even done "right").

All this on my daughters birthday. THANKS A LOT. Unbelievable.

I'll go elsewhere for food and drive thru. They won't get another red...

We made our first visit on a Monday night a little over a week ago. We arrived around 7:00 PM. Place was about 30% full. The room holds about 50 people plus another 10 or so at the bar.

Our server was Savannah. She was outstanding. She was attentive, helpful, and very kind. By the time the meal was over, we felt like we made a new friend.

We started off with an appetizer; they had a special on deep-fried pickles. Thank you Savannah for telling us about the special! They were great. My wife had a chicken salad, and I had a bacon burger with fries. The burger was a good size and tasty. My wife enjoyed her salad. We thought the prices were reasonable.

Because we were celebrating my birthday, they gave us a complementary chocolate chip skillet cookie with vanilla ice cream on top. Perfect way to end the meal; it was delicious.

We believe we have found a new place to enjoy especially since it is only 17 minutes away from where we live.

The atmosphere was that of a sports bar. A good number of large screen TVs. Music was loud, but not too loud that we couldn’t hear each other. When I go out to dinner with my wife, I, actually, like to talk to her and listen to her. Some places have the music so loud that you can’t carry on a conversation. Thank you Boondocks for keeping the music at a comfortable level.

Ummm what can I say that is nice. We like the inside it was comfortable and everything on the menu looked delicious. Now the bad. We asked the server if the onion rings, onion sticks and mozzarella cheese sticks were breaded or battered. She said they were breaded which is what I wanted and I told her that and that I didn't eat anything battered. We ordered and they came out and was battered so I sent it back with a different server (because ours disappeared) and we explained to her what happened. She was very nice and got me a different meal. When she told the cook what happened we could hear him yelling that he told _ that it was all battered. My husband got the brisket meal and he said it was good. I received my meal after my husband was done eating (mainly because our server disappeared and no one check to see if everything was ok) I got the chicken, garlic mashed potatoes and gravey with blackened corn. The corn was ok it wasn't to my taste but my husband loved it. The chicken was dry and I cannot place the taste in the batter but it left a funny almost metallic taste in my mouth and the mashed potatoes had to much garlic in them for my taste and I live garlic but this was still to much. We paid our bill and left. Liked the atmosphere and the people were friendly I just didn't like the food and it upset my stomach. We won't...
