Swiss Inn — Restaurant in Lincoln Township

I have always been fond of the Swiss inn. Whenever I am near lake George I do my best to take the time to stop in for a drink and a bite to eat. The last couple of trips have made me MORE than fond of this establishment, as the new management and crew have made a few changes. A BRAND NEW MENU featuring all of your old favorites along with several new items for you to enjoy. And I must say, I was excited to see a lineup of live entertainment returning to The Swiss Inn. For years this was one of the hot spots for bands. I have no clue what happened but, there was quite a stretch of time that the Swiss Inn went without live entertainment. I was so happy to see the new owners / management have brought back live bands to the Lake George area. Partner the new menu, live entertainment, and drink with an awesome new menu full of delicious selections and you have a winning combination called The Swiss inn. It's my belief this will become " THE place to be " when visiting, or just passing through Lake George. I would certainly recommend this place to friends, so be sure to make the Swiss Inn of Lake George a scheduled stop on your next outing. And don't be afraid to give the staff and management a pat on the back for the fine job they have done...

My daughter and I love their club sandwich. On a late afternoon when they weren't busy we dined in. After five minutes of sitting there without being helped, I asked my daughter if she wanted to go somewhere else but she insisted on staying for that club sandwich. Finally after 10+ minutes of not being helped or acknowledged, I walked up to the bar and asked If someone could wait on us, mind you there was one other table when we got there who had already cashed out. Then two different tables that came in after us were waited on before we were acknowledged by any one of the three servers.

As our server grabbed menus to bring us she said, "Apparently I picked the wrong section!!".

She greeted us with an apology- "sorry, I was eating candy".

Looking past our initial experience...everything from there on out went well. The food was great, as usual. Therefore, we will continue to be a customer ( if need be, greet the staff upon entering 😀).

I searched fb as well as the rest of the internet to find a current menu with no luck. I decided to call them and ask if they have a menu online and I was told they are not sure but to check face book. I reconfirmed to her it’s not on fb. I asked her to text it to me and she said no. Then laughed and said she was joking. Gave her my number and never received anything. I grew up next to the Swiss and own a catering company in Nashville. This is an interesting way for the new owners to operate, with no public menu and no attempt to make sales even with people calling and saying they want to order.
