Don & Millie's — Restaurant in Lincoln

I went here today and got some fries because I already had a sandwich... got up to pay and that lady was nice, but there was a lady in the background that seemed to be making fun of my order since that's all I had purchased. Not sure why that's her business or why she cared so much to say that? Then they asked if I wanted sauce for the fries, I said sure I'll take some ketchup. Got my bag and there was no ketchup and the fries were super salty.. not to mention the lady who gave me my bag asked if I wanted salt/pepper.. I can't imagine adding more salt to overly salted fries. First time trying this place as I'm originally from SD.. I'll give it another chance, but never have I ever had people making fun of just ordering a side of something.....

A few years back (9yrs) I did not like this place at all due to previous experiences with too much salt few yrs go by and once again invited to this place so the reason why I tried again was to get together with some buddys that we're long overdue for catching up. I was just hope for the best with the food and enjoy my mingling time.... Well it really all has been good from there, we get together there every so often for dollar margaritas ($1) my favorite is strawberry 🍓 on rocks no rim 🤤 I ended up trying the double Don Burger basket and I tell you what- I do not argue about going to Don and Millie's anymore! I will go and I will enjoy that delicious double with a smile on...

Our family went into the dining room at 8:15 PM. All the chairs were already up on the tables and the floor was being mopped. The sign says the dining room closes at 9:00. The drive thru is open until 10. At 9:00 the young gal cleaning the dining room came over and told us the dining room was closed. Clearly she wanted us to leave. Most places say, "stay as long as you want, we're here until after 10 anyway." Not here. She had something to do that was more important than customers. Also, my brother in law came in especially for the cheese frenchee which he'd never had before. He was disappointed to learn they are pre made with mayo which he can't eat. Not a...
