First Avenue — Restaurant in Lincoln

Walked into the bar at 6:13 pm, with all bar stools full so obviously was slightly busy, and I’m talking 8-10 people in a bar so not very many. Also I work at a bar, so I know what is busy and what isn’t. Anyways, we sit down at a table as the bartender looked us and knew we were seated there. 5 minutes goes by.....10 minutes go by..... finally we asked where the dart leagues were held as that’s what we were there for and they had been moved to a different section of the building. Snottingly, bartender just pointed in the direction of the dart area without asking if we wanted anything to drink (normally we drink about $40-$50 worth of alcohol and pop), so we go over to the board area and our entire dart league goes by without the bartender checking on us or anything. The place is cool and has fun stuff, but My friends and I were extremely disrespected by a chef who works there. I’m not going to get into a he said she said battle, that’s unnecessary...all I’m saying is the things he said were very rude, it was my birthday lunch and we could have taken our money elsewhere..sadly I don’t know if I will ever go there again if I do I hope I’m treated better if I do go there again. At my work if we treat out customers like that we get the boot. Very unclassy and unprofessional, and nobody wants to feel that way at there...

So this is my first time to visit and the food is tasty. But it takes to long to get it and if you're in a group only one meal comes out at a time. And depending on the staff that enters the order will determine if you get everything you asked for. Denise is the absolute best waitress!!!! She has the most personality of all the staff. If she had waited on me all night instead of the others also getting credit it would have made up for the slow food...
