Fantastic food and Phenomenal service! We have been going to The Lodge regularly for years. The food is always fresh and delicious. Last night I had the grilled salmon which as usual was perfectly prepared. I have had salmon at other restaurants but seldom is it cooked to the consistent quality as it is at The Lodge. This applies to all the food we have had....from appetizers, home made soups!, burgers , sandwiches, pizza, side dishes/vegetables, and meals.... ok, sometimes we even have dessert and it is just wonderful! The main reason that we return week after week is not only the food but especially the warm welcome we receive from the bartender/front end manager Heather. She treats everyone like family and makes us all feel so special. She is quick with our drinks (she knows what everyone usually orders and THAT is a lot to remember) .... She is so nice to all of us regulars and to all of the new faces too... over the years we have seen new faces become regulars too as Heather charms us all.... we all end up leaving with big smiles on our faces! Thank you to The Lodge chefs, waitstaff and...

First time eating here. Beautiful building. Nice outside deck. The bees were a little distracting as they were at our feet , legs and chairs most of the time. Other tables & customers had them too. Probably a small nest under the deck. We never got stung, but it was hard to enjoy our time while hoping not to get stung, ha. Our waitress seemed frazzled for awhile running back and forth for tables before finally getting to us and taking our drink order. (We never got a drink menu , and they had no drink options on the menu we were given. So we just got sodas. ) Then after ten minutes she came over with our drinks and laughed and said "I'm sorry for taking a long time" and then took our order. I've worked in restaurant business for over 15 years, so I do judge on how my service is when I eat out. Seemed the other surrounding customers were regulars and had both their drink & food orders taken with-in 2 mins of sitting down. Conversations between staff and other customers around us confirmed they were regulars. So our experience was ehh. But the Food was actually amazing. If we lived closer I'd probably just...

Editing my Review from 9 years ago* I love it here! My whole family has such a nostalgic love for this place. Such a fun atmosphere ; just like being in a lodge in the woods. Plenty of parking. Tons of different types of seating. You can play checkers at the bar tables and they have deals on wings and stuff on certain nights. All you can eat Clam Cakes and Chowder every night (but some flavors of chowder are only on certain days) They have patio seating in the summer when it’s nice out. A very casual bar seating area and a more home-y feeling booth area in the back (that I feel like has remained unchanged since the 90s but I love that about it) We always get Roast Beef French Dip Sandwiches, extra rare with Au Jus but you can heat them up warmer if you want! I’ve always loved the soups they have here and they have a popcorn machine every day They always seem to hire great people who stay at this job for a long time so I would imagine it is a healthy work environment here since they always have the same staff who...

After sitting down at my table and looking around and thinking the decor was cute, my friend responded to my “trying a new spot!” text with “I had a bad experience there.” Instantly, I thought... oh boy. But I wanted to give them a try! So we stayed and ordered clam cakes and chowder and the Lodge burger. Our food arrived shortly after we ordered, and let me just say.... it looked and smelled AMAZING! the taste did not disappoint either! Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavoring was on point. The staff was amazing. Our waitress (sorry I didn’t catch her name!) was WONDERFUL! She put a smile on my face every time she came to the table! I solemnly write reviews but I felt like this place deserves it! I know my friend will be trying this place again soon also!!
