Tumbleweed Bar & Steak House — Restaurant in Lincoln

After comeing here atleast 50 times in the past 6 months they can never get the food portions the same. On day you will get a full plate of wings then the next it will be 5 wings. If 2 people order wings it's like they split it I half and you don't even get full. Same goes for the apatizers. Never the same portions and seems to get smaller everytime. We started going to djs and the food and beer is about the same price if not cheaper at djs next door. The burgers at the tumbleweed are the same quality as mckdonnalds and the bacon is always burnt rock hard. They actually have homemade burgers at djs and real tables not folding tables. So, we enjoyed walking up, walking in and sitting in the bar. Gina immediately welcomed us and Cody Harrington, the owner, talked to us. He is the 2nd generation owner and his place is very welcoming, excellent in service and knowledge of their menu. We knew the place had had a #2 rating for BEST BURGER in ND. We mentioned it. What the Tumbleweed lacks in atmosphere and ambiance (it's a typical pre-engineered metal building with very modest finishes inside) it more than makes up for in friendly and helpful staff. They have hosted several fund-raising events for our church (Peace Lutheran Church of Lincoln) and the owners and staff have been awesome to work with.
