I want to give this place 5 stars, I truly do. First time I had their food was when my roommate ordered us a pizza. The pizza was excellent, no complaints. Then, yesterday I had a friend over while I was working from home, spending some time with my dog. He got hungry and I suggested Angelo’s for pizza. First time I called, it rang and rang and rang and then promoted me to enter a pin to check messages. I hung up and tried again. After several rings, a very rude person answered the phone and acted as though I had ruined her entire day. I thought maybe she was really busy, hence her not answering the phone the first time, so I kinda let her attitude go. My friend and I walked over (I live within walking distance) to fetch our pizza. I forgot my mask and was contemplating going back home to grab it, until I saw a customer coming out maskless and seeing that the woman behind the counter was, also. No other customers were inside, so my friend and I cautiously went in to pay. Again, met with more rudeness and honestly just crass.
I mentioned this experience to my roommate and he admitted that he had a similar experience with the attitude form the same woman (he described her to me), but he hadn’t complained at that time because he thought maybe she was just having a bad day.
I hope she’s not the owner; if she isn’t, she needs to be spoken to before the business goes...
Read moreI was in there with 7 other people in line and they did not talk to us for 10 minutes. After ten minutes they took a couple of our orders. They are not polite to people on the phone when they are busy. They pick up the phone and say "Angelo's wait". They don't give the customer time to talk at all before throwing down the phone. They did that for at least 5 calls before I lost track of how many times they picked up the phone and threw it back down on the counter. There customer service I would give one star. Only reason I gave them a star is because the guy that answered was polite to me. There food is so good. There pizza is the best. I would give there...
Read moreTrashy and rundown building. High prices and small portions. Horrible phone etiquette - you call and they put you on hold (by setting the phone down) and then you can hear them swearing at each other in the background. Pizzas are soggy. Salads are small and lackluster with floppy lettuce and other veggies. This is our 3rd visit and, I hope, final. I would rather drive an hour roundtrip to get Good food (also overpriced - but very good) than give Angelo's of Lisbon any more chances at...
