The Canteen — Restaurant in Little Falls

We arrived and sat at the table for 5 minutes before the gal came and brought us menus. She said she would be right back to clean the table off. It wasn’t even half full with people. After another 10 minutes or so another gal saw us sitting there. She asked if we had been helped. We explained we were told the other gal was coming back to wipe the table off and she never returned. Before I could even finish the sentence she was walking away. Came back and wiped the table and then didn’t see if we had wanted to place our drink order or even our food order. After sitting there another 5 minutes watching the first gal continuously helping those wanting pull tabs and we were continuously being...

Stopped at this establishment three times during a week hunting outing for supper after 8pm. Service was excellent, Food good and plenty full. Had pizza one night. Tasted great but center leaded. I had burger baskets the other nights. I would return in a hart beat. Thank you. RETURNED 1 yr later hunting in area. FOOD went down hill. Pizza still center loaded and burgers over cooked to dry jerkey ... firm. I just go in there for tap...

The Canteen was interesting. Bartender was friendly and very accommodating. I only had one beer and that was sufficient. She gets extra points for offering a sample of another brew before I made a final decision.

Right next to Camp Ripley entrance so I know this place has been around for a while and adapted...
