Believe me, I take no pleasure in writing this because the owner accommodated my request in a short notice, delivered on time, and even gave me a refund for the sugar cookies after I reached out to express my disappointment. As you can see, the mini cake and cupcakes are beautiful but that’s where it ends. Nothing was particularly flavorful. But the sugar cookies were by far the worst. Tasted like chalk. I requested to have 2023 on the cookies and it looked like a small child could have handwritten it. She arrived at the venue to set up everything and was gone before I got there. The staff at the venue made a point to tell me that she was rude to them. Based on all the outstanding reviews, perhaps I got a bad batch??? Perhaps she was having a bad day. We used Gwen for our wedding cake and let me tell you, you will not be disappointed! There wasn’t a single piece left at the end of the night. Our family and guests couldn’t stop talking about how great the cake was. Her flavors are absolutely delicious—white cake with bavarian crème and fresh strawberries (our favorite). Gwen made the whole process so easy from our first encounter—we were able to set up a tasting where she provided 4 different flavors with fillings and we sat down and designed our whole cake with her. She also takes incredible care delivering your cake to your venue, sets it up and even places your floral on it. She also provides a small cake on your first anniversary for free. We got our wedding cake and cupcakes from Gwen. The whole process was very easy, we made a appointment for a cake tasting and she had 4 different cakes to try. We got to basically get help with picking cupcake flavors and our design and how we want the setup to be. You can also rent stands which is nice, it's a good deal price wise. We are very happy with our cake for the big day! Also the pricing for everything was very reasonable, she delivered it that day for us so we didn't have to worry, and in about a year she said if we get in touch we get a cute cake for our one year anniversary!
