I love this joint. It's got everything you need, great wait staff, bar food that's not too shabby, local beers, and all your old favorites with a huge selection of liquor. They have live music on the weekends, and a place to dance and if you're feeling kind of full of yourself or if you have some Talent get up in front of everybody and karaoke, because they have that too. If you're not into that, play pool or darts. It's a bit of a dive but sometimes those are the best kind of bars. 😁👍 Hey, and if you stumble or fall down look up at the ceiling..... Maybe you're not really on the floor..... 🤔 Because when you look up all you see is wall-to-wall carpet. Makes me laugh every time. Join us in wondering, do they vacuum that?🤔 If our place becomes your place, us locals who frequent the Rustic Hut affectionately call it the Carpet Bar. So if you have a friend who invites you to either one of those names, just say sure, I'll go. I promise you you'll have a good time.
I have a update for the Hut. They have a new menu, new owners and some remodeling. I'm glad they haven't changed their ceiling though. They have added some fun events like 90's music dance night, Triva night on Tuesdays and such. We went the other night and they had some live country music and lots of people got up to shake their boots and tail feathers. 😃 💃 🕺 Very fun night to people watch. 😉 OH and you gotta try their calzone. Dought is crispy on the outside chewy on the inside. Soooo yummy.
The best thing about the Hut is the service. Be sure to ask to sit in Bettina's area though because she is always on top of it all. She moves around so fast you would swear she has on skates. She's always so friendly and so helpful. She never forgets about you no matter how busy she gets. Plus she has a knack of showing up right as you are thinking about getting another beer or pitcher. So awesome. The owner should clone her, some of the other staff look a bit dazed and...
Read moreWow, Those who wrote 5 star reviews were relatives or got a different meal that we did. We attended the 5o Mile Bitterroot Yard Sale and saw the sign for Friday Prime Rib. We got there at 4:30 and the server said they did not serve it till 5 and we decided to wait. She said the Prime Rib was at least 12 oz. So we decided to split one. What she didn't say was that 9 oz. was grizzle and fat. It was so tough, we could not cut it with our steak knifes. And there was a hair in the horseradish! When we told the waitress we could not cut the meat it was so tough, she said "Yeah, the cook wondered if that might happen when he saw how much grizzle was on it!" No sorry folks, or how about we cut $10 off your $40 price of the prime rib, or anything. We left her a tip and paid the bill in full, but we will NEVER EVER EVER go back there or recommend it...
Read moreGreat environment, so I thought. I was super excited to stop there and get some food, sadly to say- the cheeseburger I ordered was pink, my second bite in was pink. For someone who only eats well done burgers, I expected the cheeseburger to cooked throughly. They did promo but I’d didn’t know I had to order a cheeseburger well done. We sat at the bar and waited about 3min to even get get waited on and there was only two elderly people who had already had a pitcher in front of them, finally got a drink, then finished our first drink, and sadly waited again for about 10minutes to even get a menu and second drink. May try this again but the staff needs to at least be warming to all who walk...
