Wow! A HIDDEN GEM!! Beautiful winery, absolutely first class, boutique facility and grounds. Beautiful appointments, decor, and finishes in the lounge and tasting room, beautiful grounds with a gazebo, tables, chairs, game area, you are sitting in the vineyard. AND - for my palate, EXCELLENT WINE!! The staff were friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable about their wines and the history of the ranch. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve driven by this hidden gem on my way up to SLO and Paso Robles. Our group of 3 couples pulled off the road to take a hike to Nojoqui Falls. The road to the trailhead goes right by Folded Hills and we decided to pull in. We met the owner who informed us they were closed for a private event but invited us to picnic right across the road at their barn and menagerie. Great spot!! We snacked with their sheep, goats, piggies, cattle and Clydesdale horses!! The owner brought us a bottle of wine and bucket of carrots for the Clydesdales. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Folded Hills Winery, and it was an absolute delight! The winery's setting is picturesque, perfect for those Instagram-worthy photos, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming.

The wines were outstanding—especially the Grenache, which was a perfect balance of fruit and spice. I also loved the Lilly Rose, which was refreshing and crisp, an ideal drink for a warm day. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, making our tasting experience both educational and fun.

One of the highlights of our visit was getting to meet the Clydesdale horses on the property. It added a unique touch to our day and made this winery stand out even more.

I highly recommend Folded Hills to anyone looking for a top-notch wine tasting experience in a beautiful setting. It’s a great spot whether you’re a serious wine aficionado or just looking to enjoy a relaxing day with good wine and good company. Can't wait...
