We drove almost 2 hours to go here for tenderloins. I have to say they are huge! And they are reasonable priced at $9. We ordered 3 appetizers and 4 tenderloins after 20 min our waitress came back to us and told us that one of the appetizers was not available and asked if we wanted to get something else. I said no I figured our food would be coming soon so we'd be ok. 10 min later our appetizers come out. In 1 small basket. I would have expected a small basket of each, but one??( So you may want to order 2 of the same thing if you want 4 people to share it.) The tenderloins didn't come for another 25 min. We had to flag someone down to get refills on drinks. They weren't supper busy as most people were already eating when we got there. So maybe it was just an off night. We thought that it was a long wait to get the food. I will say that the waitress was nice things were clean in the dining room. My son said that the men's restroom was very dirty no lid on the top of the toilet and the toilet seat was falling apart. I did not use the ladies. There is no gas station in town so you have a 15 min drive to get to another restroom. Just something management may want to consider. I don't know that we will be back, a 2 hour drive to eat is just not worth it. But if you are passing through the area it is a option for big tenderloin and thick burgers. ( we saw the next table ordered burgers and they...
Read morePretty clean roadhouse bar and grill. Good food and plenty of it for the price. The signature sandwich is a monster sized pork tenderloin the size of a dinner plate. I had a 1/2 pound mushroom and swiss burger, my friend an order of chicken strips and we split an order of fries. Our bill with tip was $20. They offer a typical variety of soft drinks as well as popular domestic swill known locally as "beer". But to each their own I guess. The servers are mature and straight forward and politely nice. All in all I give it a 4 out of 5. I'll be back. And not in a Termator kind of way. If they offered one or two craft beers I'd be...
Read moreAfter looking on the "Only in Your State" site for tenderloins we made the hour and 40 minute drive from Iowa to this extremely small town of 500 in London Mills, Illinois. All of the reviews were good and deservedly so. The staff was friendly and prompt and the food was delicious ! I like my tenderloins battered so I didnt actually have one but could see other's who had and they were huge. I had an adult grilled cheese called the "Colbert" with cheese, bacon, egg, and mayo on Texas toast along with seasoned waffle fries and it was delicious as described ! Well worth the nice Sunday drive to this little 'off the beaten path '...
