Sand Hills Lounge — Restaurant in Long Pine

I’m convinced this is some of the best food I’ve ever had—and it’s tucked away in the tiniest town. I ended up coming here two nights in a row because I just couldn’t get enough. The first night, I had a cheeseburger; the second, I ordered a steak cooked medium rare. Not only did they nail the temp, but it was honestly the prettiest medium rare I’ve ever seen. The flavor took me back to when I was younger —juicy, fresh, and full of that old-school quality you rarely find anymore.

Absolutely love this place everytime I go to it. The staff is friendly and relatively knowledgeable (although one older man is slow on the uptake and screws stuff up a lot the vast majority of the staff seem to be extremely competent and friendly), the atmosphere is nice with a variety of music and scenery, and the food is spectacular.
