I travel a lot and This is the third time I've been in Arby's when there's not a whole lot going on and still had to keep me waiting, according to my stop watch, 22 minutes. There was one other customer who also waited and waited and waited. Marlowe took my order, obviously knowing when I ordered potato cakes, he had to make them fresh. He took my order, I watched while the guy in back microwaved my chicken slider, made the roast beef sandwich, and placed them under the warmer. Meanwhile, Marlowe was doing ten other things Before putting the cakes in the fryer. Now, it would have been a long wait either way, but his messing around doing other things wasn't getting my food cooked. I think he gave me an extra potato cake that I did not want but I'm not sure. I do believe there was a manager there, I could not get her attention as she cruised by looking at the ground, not making eye contact. I own several restaurants, if my manager or shift leader doesn't want to look at customers, I take care of the problem. Read moreThey tried to feed us rotted meat. The stench from the sandwiches was sickening. The roast beef was clearly old and maybe they tried to boil it so that it wasnt poison? It was more old and rubbery than usual, unable to be chewed and tasted like death. The manager did not care about the product, didn't even look at the sandwiches which means they probably knew the meat was bad and served it anyway. They did not check the rest of the meat they were serving either. Instead of just refunding the meal, apologizing, and taking care of the problem, she was concerned with getting the drinks and fries back. I'll tell you, that's why I come to Arby's, for their fountain pop and crappy fries. It was all going in the trash anyway as we couldn't eat anything else in the restaurant. She called him about 3 times before she just decided to take my order and have me pay for it whenever this Mario got to the front. A few minutes later he finally comes and she advises him of my order and he told her to hold on so that he could write something down. I handed my husband the money while I went to the restroom. Got out and he was still waiting because Mario forgot to put the fries in the fryer. So we had to wait longer. And to top it off... As long as we waited, the fries were hard and not fully cooked.
