Alice's Restaurant — Restaurant in Louisiana

Alice's Restaurant has been around for quite a long time and I can actually remember this cozy little place from when I was a kid, my family has lived in Lacombe since the early 1960's. The staff at Alice's are always so friendly and welcoming. The food is consistently good, it's fresh and it's always cooked to order. The restaurant is always spotlessly clean. I've been stopping in at Alice's with my kids for years and we've always been welcomed very kindly, we've never had any problems or complaints and we've always been impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant as well. Man was this place a gem. A buddy bought a house out around there a few years back and I was helping him do some work on it for a week or two. Neither of us knew the area but we saw this little diner off the side of the road and said let's try it out. Everything I've ever eaten there was absolutely exceptional. I went there four times in the few weeks I was working there and even drove out there a time or two just to have lunch. Some honest homemade cooking that's reasonably priced with very substantial portions. The food is exceptional! I mean completely awesome for a mom and pops. I love this place Secondly to waffle house. The serving size you get is incredible... we love eating here, the owner is so awesome and sweet. I think she's typically the one waiting on all the customers. Shes very sweet. I've never been when theres a rush so I don't know what that looks like. We only go for breakfast. The portions of food that you are going to get will fill you up.
