Cheesecake Heidi — Restaurant in Louisiana

Great little shop that specializes in cheesecake, obviously. The name intrigued me as I passed by on my way to a jobsite and I felt compelled to stop by to check it out. I had never seen a bakery that was strictly cheesecake before, and the positive reviews only reinforced my decision to see what it was all about.

It was getting close to closing time when I arrived and there were five or six flavors of the personal size to choose from, ready to go.

I went with a personal sized Chocolate, and Strawberry Swirl which were to be split and shared with a coworker, and cupcake sized Piña Colada.

The cupcake size didn't survive the parking lot because I devoured it immediately. It was fabulous!

The flavors of the other two were also wonderful, with perfect texture and not too dense, and with just the right sweetness. They left nothing to be desired, except MORE!

It was excellent. The two bakers I spoke to were also just as delightful as the cheesecakes.

I hope this little shop stays open as I intend on stopping by...
