Let me tell you about the amazing service we received at Jeaux Biffs! I called a few weeks ago and asked to reserve a spot for us to throw a birthday party and I’m so glad I did! On Saturday we celebrated and had the best experience I’ve had in a long time, it was truly an amazing experience. From the moment we contacted them to reserve tables for our party of 25, the owner and his wife were incredibly accommodating and sweet. They answered all my questions and they even allowed us to come in early to decorate, which made the celebration even more special. When we arrived I had a nice chat with owner and he helped us set up for the party and showed us some of the art work his daughters had made (they have some really beautiful art pieces!) while we waited for the guests to arrive. Once everyone got settled we ordered and they had amazing turn around times for the amount of food we ordered! There were a lot of us all at once and they still managed to get us all our food hot and fresh. The food was absolutely fantastic—every dish was served to perfection, with flavors that left us all raving. From frogs legs and burgers, to fried okra and oysters there wasn’t a single complaint among us as we all enjoyed our meal. My mom absolutely raved over the tomatoes on her sandwich as they were so big and juicy. I honestly can’t make one single complaint! The service we received was attentive and warm, making us all feel right at home. We couldn't have asked for a better place to host our celebration. Jeaux Biff’s isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a place where memories are made. We can’t recommend it...
Read moreIf you are traveling down the Cracklin Corridor from Opelousas to Lafayette, head west on I-10 to Breaux Bridge and stop in at the quaint little restaurant with the quirky decor and beautiful paintings. The art on the wall matches the art on your plate. The owner suggested a po-boy called the Swamp and it did not disappoint. It was as if I bit into the DNA of a Cajun Buffet. The Alligator sausage is split in half and the cavity is filled with a pile of crawfish, jalapeños, and the father of the holy Cajun Trinity, sautéed onions. This is all topped with a peppered jam that adds a sweetness to the spice’s punch. The combination of flavors is like kissing a beautiful women whose angry. You are not exactly sure what’s happening but you know you want more. Here is my warning, stay away from the boudin eggrolls. If you try them, you will eat them till they need to roll you out the place. I don’t know what the secret ingredient is in them, but now I’m addicted and my family is planning an intervention tomorrow. Top this off with some of the light and crispy beignets covered with powdered sugar, or as I call it, chubby...
Read moreWe had large order $130.00 worth. 5 people. 2 orders correct. Fried okra was burnt. Fried oysters were very small, no taste. Other 3 orders had shrimp missing none had their 2 sides. Ordered salad with no carrots, onions or tomatoes. Full of carrots & tomatoes. This for an 11 year old that’s allergic to this. Advised young cashier. She asked if I wanted her to apologize. If you have to ask then no, I don’t want your apology. Owner there she did not go tell him. Everything is way over priced. $13.00 for a regular hamburger. Didn’t get fries with it. Music was loud & like punk rock. Not appropriate for the older crowd. It was very busy. Very disappointed all away around.
I will add. Ordered a double hamburger to go. Asked for ALL toppings to be put in separate container. When my son in law got ready to eat it. Lettuce & tomato on it. He is allergic to tomatoes. Grilled onions in another container ( good there). But it wasn’t a double cheese burger. It was a Grilled Chicken burger. Chicken was not cooked through.
Please reconsider going to this place. Totally unacceptable Waste of $130.00 Plus...
