Kirin Steak House — Restaurant in Louisiana

I’m so sad this restaurant has abandoned the simple notion of what “good” should taste like. We live quite close to the restaurant and would order takeout on a regular basis. The last time we ordered I thought “we’ll, this is weird” because the food was subpar to our usual experiences. Well, tonight put the preverbal nail in the coffin. One of the rolls we received had fully cooked tuna that was grainy to the touch and smelled horribly bad. One of the appetizers was so cold it was, quite literally, frozen in places! Okay, the food is very good. The eel poke bowl, seared pepper tuna roll are my favorite things I’ve gotten. I feel that any roll with crunchies should put the crunchies be on the top of a roll, I walked a few feet to my air bnb and the crunchies or tempura gets so dense and soggy. The amazing, rainbow, and American dream rolls were ok.

I really hate leaving negative reviews but I tried this place out yesterday before work. I got the sushi deluxe. One of the nigiri had tasted and looked off but I didn’t think anything of it. Pretty sure it was red snapper maybe. I ate at 7pm. Around 2am I started feeling really sick and had diarrhea, and by 5am I started vomiting. I’ve been vomiting all morning and still have diarrhea.
