La Espuela Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Louisiana

I felt so bad for our little waitress. They had her doing everything !!! The other girl just brought out chips !Took forever to get waited on. Took forever to get our food. The food came out at different times. 2 people at our table ordered fajitas. We got the fajitas, but did not get the rest of stuff that goes with it. We had to ask if we would get it. Well, got mine, finally, some time later, after the rest of meal had gotten cold. The other person got his fixings AFTER we were all done eating. We never got napkins. Thankfully, someone at our table had Kleenex and handed those out to us. The food was just okay, but definitely not even worth the price we paid. We went to counter to pay as to not have to wait any longer. Well, well, our poor waitress was doing that too! And to make matters worse , I looked out to see one of the guys from the kitchen area appearing to be correcting our waitress and pointing to a couple earlier in the night . She looked so stressed . I placed an order over the phone today and I was told my order will be ready in 15 minutes. I was driving way from Lafayette so that gave enough time for my order to be ready. I go inside the restaurant and a customer is paying for their food at the counter so I told one of the workers who is a guy I was here to pick up my order and he just nodded his head at me and the other 2 workers just stood there and payed more attention to the paying customer and held a long conversation with him. After the customer left the workers just kept passing me up so the manager asked me what I needed and I told him I was here to pick up an order and they were confused so I just left and was disappointed and I’ll never return back and they’ll never get my...

The food was really delicious! Everything was well seasoned. My husband and I really enjoyed the food.

Unfortunately, the waitress was a bit distracted. It wasn't her fault, but there was a woman there with a brood of children that were running around, being extremely loud, and obnoxious. I'm not sure if this is a common occurrence as this was our first time + the food was great.
