Mr JD Delicious Donuts — Restaurant in Louisiana

A couple months ago my daughter had a sleepover so the next morning I ordered donuts from here through Waitr. It took 2 hours for my food to arrive. TWO HOURS. This was not the fault of Waitr as I was in contact with them the whole time. My Waitr driver was in the restaurant and watched person after person come in and leave. My Waitr driver was there for an hour and a half before they ever started making my order. Fast forward a couple months and I’m in the same situation and decide to give them another try on Waitr. AGAIN, and hour and a half it took to get my food. Again my Waitr driver was there waiting and said he watched 13 people come in and leave before they made my order. Not only did you waste my time, but you wasted the time of the Waitr drivers who could have picked up other jobs in the time they spent waiting on you. So far I have only had their donut holes and homemade caramel iced coffee, but OH MY! They are amazing! The donut holes are not as sweet as other places which I like and the iced coffee! Chef’s kiss! He asked if it was my first time there and I said it was, so he asked if I would try the coffee while I was there. So much better than what I make at home, SB, and PJ’s. Only thing that could make it better would be sugar free flavors for the coffee, but it’s not an everyday thing. Not too sweet either. Perfect balance with the donut holes! Every time we come here it has been a fantastic experience. The customer service is top notch and the donuts are delicious. The aroma in the air is intoxicating and truly makes it difficult to decide on a donut. So obviously, the only choice is to get at least a dozen. The employees are very patient as you take your time to truly stare at each selection before you choose. Don't forget to try their kalaches. They have regular and jalapeno ones.
