Shannon's Tavern — Restaurant in Louisiana

A true neighborhood bar atmosphere. Very friendly staff and patrons. Bar is small which gives it a much friendlier vibe than a huge, long bar. Pool tables stay busy as does the jukebox, both saying positive things about Shannon’s. Food selection is limited, but it is a bar, not a restaurant. %@&*SMOKING IS ALLOWED. SO IF cigarettes offend you, I warned you. Cigarettes/alcohol store next door. Laundry, awesome nail salon, hair salon, even sewing machine repair…it’s all right here in the same little plaza. This establishment is a garbage can that serves drinks. The Tavern unfortunately enables, and at times promote harassment and rude behavior perpetrated by the same individuals again and again. The kind of establishment that will knowingly harbor and hide an individual who has physically assaulted another patron, while ushering the victim of the assault outside and then locking the door. Perhaps the little Tavern won't always be like this. Perhaps under different ownership/management it will be a great local Tavern, not somewhere agitators agitate then hide behind girlfriends skirt! Owner is disrespectful. Regularly drunk at her own bar. Does not keep the liquor stocked and is rude to her staff. Has attempted to take her bartender’s personal belongings without consent. The heavier set bartender has on multiple occasions been drunk behind the bar and fallen asleep in a chair while behind the bar.

This is not a place to go for any kind of decent experience while either of these two are there. Do not...
