We’ve been going just about every Sunday after church for the last several weeks. So we get there at about 10:40 AM when we arrive. The employees aren’t bad but they’re not great either. It seems every Sunday they are out of something. Today they were about to run out of pickles at 10:40 in the morning!!!! They were out of flatbread, pizza, and pepper jack cheese this morning. They may have been out of more food items we just didn’t inquire about those. Sounds like poor management to me. What I don’t get is that there’s a grocery store literally across the street! If you run out of something you could walk across the street and get just about anything you need! I’m sure the dough for the flat bread and pizza is proprietary from subway and they just can’t go buy that at a grocery store but pickles and cheese, come on! Usually when we go on Sunday’s it’s empty at the time we arrive so I don’t understand why the tables aren’t clean. The two employees could easily be wiping down tables and cleaning the floor but I’m sure they’re too busy socializing with each other. Today you could see mud on the chair legs from someone with muddy shoes and I had to wipe our table down myself. First time, delivery was never delivered (and it was never even marked as delivered, I just checked) yet they refused to give a refund, kept telling me to call them. They essentially stole $20 out of my pocket. Second time, the order came 2-3 hours late. My sandwich was disgusting at that point and not worth eating. It was tuna. Third time, which was today- they simply cancelled my order and didn't call to say why, and I refuse to call them to ask why. Honestly, they did me a favour by cancelling it. I've given this location way too many chances but at this point I'm not surprised that they're not improving. 3rd time's a charm, I won't be ordering from this location again.
Can't wait until a different location offers delivery via DoorDash. They try to act like it's DoorDash's problem but as far as I'm concerned if I'm ordering through Subway's mobile app, it's on them to give me a refund if necessary and make sure I'm contacted if it's obvious a delivery is having problems. How hard is it to contact your customers? I hope this review stings because you lot deserve it.
