I used to eat here all the time for years since it first opened. Thursdays they have fried chicken on the menu and that was my favorite until today. I noticed something different immediately walking in at 11:45 AM. The place had six people in it and no one serving food behind the counter. I placed my order and waited quite a while for a plate of cold food. The fried chicken was nothing like before. The green beans, baked macaroni, and salad all tasted and appeared old. The salad already had dressing on it to hide the wilted lettuce. I was starving and couldn’t finish the meal. The iced tea was good, but I will not be going back for that. The price is a bit high for a Cafeteria style lunch with small chicken pieces. I’m writing this review after driving home and thinking that it must be under new management or a new owner. I read the reviews and they confirm my suspicion. Very sad to see such a very popular restaurant be destroyed by a delusional owner. Why would you change what worked so well for so many years? Now there’s no place to eat on Peter’s Road/engineers Road unless you like...

Was attempting to have lunch with a co worker, & got comment from management which had me tell her Cancel my order. Co worker had the roast beef a like someone stated since new ownership the roast beef has changed. He stated it had an awkward taste & thinks they should go back to the roast beef that was used previously. Other than that a decent atmosphere to say it’s on the West Bank. I wouldn’t recommend this establishment due to management alone, but the decline in food standards doesnt help the issue either. Although I understand nostalgia for...
Read moreThey were short staffed so I understand why it took so long to get my food. I basically lost my woke lunch break waiting. I ordered white meat fried chicken which was more expensive, then 15 minutes later she tells me they were out, will I take dark meat? Well I told her I paid extra for white meat, she says, "it was only $1. First off it was almost $1.50, second off I work hard for my money. I don't care if it's 50 cents difference, I paid for it. I asked if she can give me something extra. An extra drumsticks, maybe a little bowl of pudding. She said no. I'll never eat there again. The food wasn't...
