Thompson's Diner and Dairy — Restaurant in Louisville

I recently took a drive from Columbus, Ohio to Thompson's Dairyland for breakfast. The drive was well worth the trip! The eggs, bacon, and pancakes are fresh and fabulous. The restaurant has a welcoming, country feel, and the service was friendly and prompt. The food arrived at the table shortly after ordering and it was hot. Thompson's coffee invites a bottomless cup! Looking at the menu, I will be back to try some of their amazing lunch and dessert items. The other appeal to Thompson's is their charming gift shop. This is where the locals go to eat. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. They don't stay open as late as they used to. Not sure why. They have a great selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Always good coffee too. They sell ice cream that's always a hit. A lot of baseball teams stop there, so get there early. Yummy flavors! One that people come there just to get is called Blue Moon. This was hands down the best breakfast I had while in Ohio for a week. I wish I had found this place sooner. I had the Farmers Special. Everything wss cooked fresh. The eggs were cooked to order and the bacon was exceptional. The potatoes were also freshly sliced and fried. Meals were reasonably priced and service was friendly and efficient. The owner even came by to make sure everything was OK. This was truly a wonderful place for breakfast off the beaten path but worth the trip. I...
