My experience at New Life Caribbean Restaurant was an exciting journey through Caribbean flavors and culture. Located in Hampton Ga, the most convenient part of the city, its warm atmosphere, beautiful paintings and traditional Caribbean decor immediately draw you in. When I walked in, the aroma wafted through the air, making me hope for a culinary adventure. During my visit, the staff greeted me with a genuine smile and provided attentive service that made me feel at home. I was excited and proud visiting from out of town now upset so far away from this Gold Mine of flavor.
New Life Caribbean Restaurant offers a wide variety of Caribbean cuisine.Mostly centered Haitian American cuisine made to perfection and retained its original flavor after cooking. Each piece of meat tasted had a perfect balance of flavor and texture. In addition to that there was the traditional rices as a side dish, which perfectly complemented the dish. I also had the opportunity to try the the delicious fried plaintains, and my favorite drink Cremas was a wonderful contrast to the delicious taste of the food, but were a variety of drinks to choose from everyone goes crazy over when you see that made your childhood memories great when families at together type stuff. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh ingredients, and good cooking methods are reflected in each dish.
All in all, New Life Caribbean Restaurant offers a delicious experience that celebrates the flavors of the Caribbean. The combination of delicious food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere make it the perfect choice for anyone looking to explore different culinary traditions. Read moreNice atmosphere and lovely shop next door. Now please let me give a disclaimer that I came here 30 minutes until closing, HOWEVER food is prepared well before and is not made to order other than the plantains. I drove from Atlanta about 35 miles due to reading the amazing reviews, however my home is Brooklyn, NY. You will never get an authentic meal like one from a friend's/family home, when cooking Haitian dishes it should never be toned down to appeal to the American taste buds. That is taking away from the roots and culture of why we like the food. That being said I ordered Djon djon with legume and what I got was 2 small hard piece of beef, black rice that was not black or flavorful. It tasted like a Guyanese rice and beans. The only thing that saved it was the pickliz. This is very unfortunate as my pregnant self was CRAVING some verified Haitian food but sadly I will not be returning. I truly expected better. One of the worse $20 I ever spent Also don't try to upcharge when u have a specific price stated...
Read moreI’ve ordered from this restaurant twice and both times the marinad were terrible. Please change the person who makes them because they clearly don’t know how to cook. Honestly, you’re disrespecting your customers and that’s exactly why Haitian food or restaurants aren’t ranked among the top in the world, because people don’t take pride in doing things well. I really hoped the marinad would be good this time, but seriously, is this what you call serving food? You gave me a bunch of raw spinach with a piece of beet as a salad, and the marinad looked like a greasy ball that was empty inside. If I were there in person, I would’ve told you exactly how I feel! You should just close your restaurant because what you’re selling...
