North Mountain Inn Inc — Restaurant in Lower Frankford Township

I rarely write reviews unless a place is really outstanding and impresses me. Having been here several times in the past few months, this place qualifies. It's a local hangout with the friendliest group of characters I have ever seen. They make a stranger really feel welcome. Their prices are very reasonable across the board. The first time I was there I questioned the amount of my bill because I thought they forgot to charge me for something. I didn't want them to cheat themselves out of something. No, it was spot on. We were just up there for Carlisle Chrysler nationals, we were staying in an Airbnb on the opposite side of the mountain and we kept passing the place and decided to go there. We had eight people in our group and we just had such a good time it was nice to find out that it was a family run business, and they were all so nice.

Cold beer, good snacks, touch tunes, pool, and good conversation. At the end of the night, the tab was also very reasonable.

This is one of the places where you can still drink and smoke, so smokers seem to gather here. The egg rolls were rather bland. The live entertainment was not to my liking. That’s the extent of the negative. The French fries were outstanding and plentiful. Many places serve cheap blue cheese with wings-not here. Once again tasty and plentiful. Best of all, they have PBR on tap. The clientele is friendly. The wife and I had an enjoyable time. ...
