Newburg Deli — Restaurant in Lower Nazareth Township

This place was...disappointing at best. Having been in the mood for a good authentic deli sandwich, I drove about 20 minutes away from my office so I could get just that from a place with "Deli" in its name and good reviews on the web. That said, this establishment perhaps should change their name to Newburg Grill, or Newburg Cheesesteaks as their focus seems to be more on burgers and cheesesteaks with traditional greasy grill sides such as french fries and pierogies. My deli sandwich was pretty gross - the roll was stale, the roast beef was flavorless and the sandwich itself had about 3 slices of meat on it - disappointing for a $6.99 sandwich. They had no macaroni salad, potato salad or anything even resembling either of those things and their deli case was near empty with all but maybe two kids of meats in there, and they both looked like they'd been in there for years. I can't speak to their hot food coming out of the kitchen in the back, but marketing themselves as a "deli" is misleading and false. I'd have gotten a better deli meat...

I went to the Newburgh deli anytime I was in the area. Husband and wife owned it then I didn't know their names or anything... But I drove all the way out there from where I live today about 45 minutes.. soon as I got home and looked at it I knew it wasn't the same. I took a bite out of it and I said somebody else must have bought it. No offense guys but the steak sandwiches they had. ...... It was a whole different experience. I'll probably try it again next time I'll just get a regular steak instead of a steak hoagie. The new owner seemed great they were great on the phone nice in person. I'm sure they have different foods than before.. Probably with a shot. and maybe those things are good. But my first impression not so great. Good luck to you guys I hope...

ordered online and paid online for pickup. showed up a half hour later and they said they just got my order. waited another 20 minutes and they charged me again saying they never got payment. i checked my bank statement, saw that i was charged twice and called back. Owner said it was my fault and hung up on me. I went back to deli to get my money back that i was double charged and he called me ungracious because they were working in a hot kitchen and told me i shouldn't order online through them again because it always gets screwed up. Cannot believe the owner would be so rude and not value his customers and I will never go back there again, which is sad because i frequented...
