Valley view diner is a cute, now more modern feeling diner. They've updated lighting and general feel of the place to feel new, while still maintaining a great price range. Food overall is good quality and full of your typical classic options, with some selections you don't see everywhere, like scrapple for example. The cold brew caramel coffee is very good, I ordered a 2nd one, and my Grams ordered one too. The pancakes were fluffy, loaded and medium-sized. The sausage links are full sausages, not the skinny links I've come to expect, though mine were very over cooked. Not one complaint from any meals, and it came out pretty quick. Our waitress only checked on us once without prompting and we could hVe used regills, but it was a very packed place this time, so much so that we had to wait for about 25cmins to get seated. Having been there previously, this isn't the norm and typically the staff is able to be a bit more attentive, so I won't hold that against them. Valley view is a good diner to add to your breakfast place rotation and you will love the pricing compared to elsewhere! Table of 5, with extra special coffees etc, our meals available per person was $13 but with out the coffees you can get away under $10 a person!

This diner hit the spot. We were a group of eight, half kids, so stuck mostly to eggs, pancakes, and waffles. The coffee was good and the service was great – – Sam was an ace waiter

The food was OK, lacking flavor for my tastes. Had to go through 3 ketchup bottles to get enough for the home fries. 1 plus was that... The staff was very friendly.

1st time to visit this diner during breakfast. Positives: Waitresses were on the ball with checking on the table throughout my being seated. Genuinely friendly and wanted you to have the best experience. The diner itself was extremely well lit and very clean.

Breakfast pricing was one of the best I've ever seen. Very, very reasonable.

Negatives: The Coffee lacked any robust flavor, weak in taste and had a strange note at the end of a sip. The best I can explain it - You knew it was supposed to be coffee but didn't have the experience of I want more. Truly the owner should verify if the machine needs adjustment, or the coffee used needs to be replaced and/or the water needs filtering. My guess is the coffee. Try 2 filters to slow the drip to improve obtaining a richer note. Otherwise, get another type coffee. Coffee is one of the most important aspects of a breakfast to give a customer a reason to return.

The Corn Beef Hash had to be the worst I've ever had. It lacked a taste you would expect of this type side, was mushy even though the waitress suggested it be well cooked and again was hard to eat. Sure there are customers that order it but try standing in the back room were they clear the plate in the garbage to see if generally customers are eating everything or what they generally are not eating.

I really appreciated real potatoes in serving with my breakfast. Unfortunately, NO salt or pepper or onions to enhance the flavor. The potatoes added nothing to my meal.

I'm not trying to beat this diner up, but if someone would truly look into anything I've mentioned.

Unfortunately I do not have a reason to return, at least...

It's a diner in a great location that is comfortable with excellent service. Unfortunately the food I & a friend ordered from the breakfast menu was bland at best. The link sausage looks like dried shriveled soy bean links & inedible. Eggs were okay whike hash browns were dried out without anything close to tasting like potatoes. Huge portion of them discarded along with the artificial sausage link. Coffee was likewise weak and cheap tasting. To be fair I haven't tried anything else from their menu so it may only be these items that are unsatisfactory. The waitresses were great. I did not complain to them -just left the uneated links & cardboard fake potatoes...
