Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Lucedale

I've been to this location since I was a child. Recently the service has become very poor. I had a pre-ordered purchase on the sonic app for 2 slushies and an ice cream cone. The order screen at the stall confirmed my purchase and I watched as it said it was cooking in the kitchen and then on it's way. 45 minutes later I still had no food. I pressed the order button and informed whoever I spoke with on the other end that I had been waiting 45 minutes for my order after they asked how may they take my order. There was no reply! I was fed-up at this point and called corporate to get my money back. In the 1 hour that I was there I had two different servers ask me if an order was mine (It wasn't). Maybe if they didnt clear out the orders on the screens because they were running behind they would know which stall to bring the orders to 🤔. I also witnessed one server constantly going to talk to the car beside mine instead of working. She was hanging into the driver window and carrying on conversation instead of working. My husband and I just got married and moved to lucedale, he is the new youth pastor at a local church, we just finished our house and decided to grab a quick supper before bed because we were both tired, so, we went to sonic. How was it not? TERRIBLE. #1.long wait (it was sat night almost 10 p.m.) They got our order wrong They forgot to give us one of our drinks The food tasted terrible my husband's burger wasn't even hot, it was a bacon cheeseburger, it didn't even have lettuce mayonnaise or anything, literally only meat cheese and mustard. And it was burnt. 5.my chicken strip dinner didn't come with a sauce,or onion rings, the toast was tough and tasteless, and was cold also. 6.we both got Reese's banana custard concretes, him extra banana, me extra Reese's, his had whole bananas in it not even chopped up, they didn't have whipped cream, it was like eating milk it wasnt frozen, but it was also goopy like they used old ingredients or it had been sitting out. Very impatient staff. Sit on dining tables and watch you press the button to order than take a few minutes to finish their conversation to take your order. I never get my change back! I had an order one time that was $15 so I paid with a $20 bill and I didn't not get my change back at all. When I inquired at the door they ignored me. I guess they forcefully take tips. I understand that these tips are what some of us live off of, I've been there. Just do your job and I will gladly tip you. Never take order correctly. Ive gotten things in my order that i have politely asked for them to remove. I have been patient and polite everytime. I have come here a few times hoping they would change and nothing! I have worked at a Sonic location before and I understand that it's busy. I understand that completely. But take a moment to realize that you're dealing with food handling and cash handling.
