My wife and I were so excited to visit Luckey Junction Sat. about 12:30 p.m. I ordered the hot diggity burger with fries and my wife ordered a burger lettuce tomato mayo and onion with crispy waffle fries. The food was as expected Exceptional. Our dismay was service. We were told an hour to wait for food. That's fine is was their Luckey Festival. We were able to sit at the bar and possibly 15 minutes later not our waitress asked us if we got our drinks yet. We said no so she took our drink orders. And was filling them when our waitress came up and asked what we would like to drink. We told her it was being filled by the waitress behind her. She took over filling the drink order and put them on the bar out of our reach. After about 5 minutes she came back through and I interrupted her and asked if those were our drinks sitting on the counter. She brought them to us and took our order. My wife got a diet cola and I got a sprite. Ended up being water. After another 5 minutes she came by and I told her it was water so she took my drink and brought my correct order. There is a lot more to the story but the waitresses were overwhelmed by the amount of people there the waitress we had must have been new because she was lost. My main complaint is YOU KNEW is was the Luckey Festival and should have anticipated the extra business this would bring to your establishment. And maybe oversaw the weekend yourself. Because it seemed like they were overwhelmed. Saw many people leave when they weren't served in a timely manner, saw one guy pay for his drink and threw his coin change on the table for a tip. Many people left after inattention from the staff. UT like I said FOOD WAS EXCELLENT BUT SERVICE...
Read moreIf I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would. This is by far one of the BEST restaurants around. We've been to many different parts of the country and this place rates on the top three of restaurants. Everything is homemade and as you can see the portions are very generous. The food is EXCELLENT and their staff treats you like family. The owners use nothing but the best ingredients and support local farmers as well as their community. From their selection of different types of Angus burgers, different types of sandwiches such as the Reuben, Chicken Wings, Chicken Chunks, Taco salads and many other type of salads, Pizza, Steak dinners, Pork chop dinners, Perch dinners and many more items on their menu you'll definitely find something to satisfy your taste buds. A great selection of appetizer I highly recommend their fried pickles and pretzels w/queso absolutely delicious. Many different types of soups as well again everything is homemade which you won't find in many restaurants. They also have quite the selection of homemade pies to choose from for that person with a sweet tooth great with a cup of coffee after dinner. They also serve breakfast until noon which we have tried and enjoyed every bite. I can't say enough about this place in addition they have a wonderful staff that makes you feel like family from the time you walk in. There is a bar for those who enjoy a beer or cocktail with their dinner or after. It's a hidden gem located on Main Street in Luckey Ohio. As I like to say, it's definitely foodie approved and I guarantee you're going to agree with me once you've tried it. Can't go wrong at the Luckey...
Read moreFor someone that rates other restaurants on their burgers...maybe you should stay in house (lucky junction)& worry about your own. Absolutely the worst burger I've ever had. Greasy & tasteless. Got the Monty Cristo w/o bun. 1st off it took forever to get food, couldn't even get drink refills, we were told up front, no ribs, no smash burgers & something else, I can't remember. Place wasn't that busy...we were there around 2pm. After we order & sit forever, they bring side salads in a cereal bowl & say oh we have smash burgers now!! The croutons on the salad were stale. Then we sit longer, girl says your food will be right up. Then another girl comes & starts asking me about my burger. Saying it's deep fried...& if that's ok...I said it's a burger what are you talking about. She's says oh there's a Monty Cristo burger...I didn't know that...REALLY!! So finally after they say food is coming right up (after we wait more)..they bring it out. It's served on a plastic plate swimming in grease. The turkey was bad, like freezer burn. I told my boyfriend to try it...he said same thing. He said his burger was tasteless & greasy also. So for $16.00 we got bad food. Burger 14 add 2 for salad. Place was dirty, bathroom was filthy (toilet paper & paper towels sitting on ledge, not in holders) front window was covered in bug poop finger prints & unknown chunks. I'm sure most people were there due to his Facebook following, like we were. We wanted to try your place 1st...then start going to others you review. The whole experience was a let down. I would of loved to ask other's their thoughts on what...
