Cherry Hill Ice Cream — Restaurant in Lunenburg

Today was excellent. But our last visit left something to be desired. Apparently the manager must have been on a break. Another young woman (covering the manager perhaps) was chatting up a customer, that she seemed to know, while the person working that window stood aside. This went on for a while with customers, including my husband and I, waited in line. Finally, I asked the woman if she was serving people. She quickly walked away so I couldn't see her. She seemed to have an attitude. This was odd. The server was fine. Their ice cream is really great, especially Extreme Chocolate.

I often bring my parrot for a whipped cream and nuts treat. Typically, since it's just a tea spoon full, we haven't been charged. However, we were charged the last 2 times. I'm not sure why the inconsistency. There were a couple times quite, some time ago, when we were charged. This inconsistency...

Hidden gem! I grew up in Fitchburg, spent a bunch of time at Whalom park, but never knew Cherry Hill existed! My wife had the peanut butter cookie dough, while I had the peanut butter fudge! It was a great ice cream Zen moment, my comments while eating this delectable creation were something like, mmmmmm, yummm, mmmm, loved the peanut butter ice cream, the chocolate fudge didn't just make an appearance, but was present in it's chewyness as fudge should be! Only down fall is it's a bit more pricy than other ice cream drive ins, that considered, would we go again? Absolutely. Many more delicious sounding ice cream...

Cherry Hill is a classic ice cream shop with all the new flavors. I got the classic banana split and it was delicious. Not everyone makes a good one anymore, but Cherry Hill nailed it! There are a ton of unique flavors I'm going to need to go back and try, like their PB180; a mixture of peanut butter ice cream, PB swirl, and PB cups My lady had the vegan chocolate peanut butter ice cream and she loved it! They have plenty of alternatives for anyone with a food allergy. All this with great service, and beautiful, family friendly setting, and supporting local businesses/farms.
