Legends Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Lusk

Based on the reviews, we figured this was where we had to stop, and we were right! We found a table right away and our server got our drink order within a minute or two of us sitting down. He was kind enough to put lids on our kids' cups. The salad bar is efficiently sized; it looks small, but everything on it is really good (the coleslaw, especially). We ordered two kid's meals (mini corn dogs and chicken nuggets) and the value for the amount of food was insane. The chicken nugget meal had ten nuggets! The kid's meals come with ice cream, but our server told us that the ice cream had melted so he offered us a slice of peach pie instead (Wow! How nice!). It ended up being probably the best piece of peach pie I've ever eaten. I asked the server what kind of spices are in the pie and he said, "I don't know, a little old lady comes in and makes the pies and she does a heck of a job!" She sure does! Us grown-ups had chicken wings and a BLT salad. The wings were demolished at such a speed that their tastiness is undeniable and the BLT salad was packed with bacon and grilled chicken. Delicious! We stopped over in Lusk on our way to Yellowstone. Asked for dinner recommendations at the local market and they said they heard Legends was good but they had never been there because it was always busy. We took that as a good sign and we’re glad we did. Got the burger, made with fresh beef and a BLT which my husband said was incredible. I asked to sub a salad for my side instead of fries and they let me get my own salad at the salad bar. Best salad bar I’ve had. Everything was fresh and the potato and pasta salads were homemade. We stopped here on our way through town. It is a cute quaint little joint, has a rustic feel. We got the BLT, wings, Burger and kids mini corn dogs. the wings we got BBQ sauce, the sauce was fantastic and very flavorful. The BLT was chuck full of bacon and very fresh tomatoes we got the the onion petals as the side with this and they were fantastic anything else you want to stay with her for those like no for the onions.
