Georgio's Subs & Pizzas — Restaurant in Luzerne Township

Never order delivery from this place! This is the third time I have ordered from them and the time they tell you it will be is between 45 minutes and an hour, which is acceptable and wouldn't be that bad if it was only a half hour later than that, but at the time of writing this it has now been 2.5 hours and still no food. Their excuse when I first called at the hour and a half mark was that they only had one driver when they were supposed to have two. At that time they assured us that we were the next delivery and that the driver was almost back to pick up our order and head our way, keep in mind the shop is only 3.5 miles away from my house. Fast forward another half hour and we called again to see if something happened which is when they told me that there was another order in front of mine that he was delivering first and he had our food and we were directly after and that he should only be a few minutes more. At the 2.5 hour still no food and at this point I am just going to call to get a refund. The order finally showed up at 10:05, 2 hours and 35 and was cold so we told the delivery driver to take it back and we would get a refund.

Edit: the refund was given for the order as it should have been but the driver never called me and had no problem finding the house, the problem was with the management of the establishment and the lies I and my girlfriend were told when calling to get an update. All of this could have been avoided by telling the truth about the timing. Furthermore my phone was working fine as they had called right after I ordered to make a substitution for something they had run out of. I just left this disgusting abomination. Not only are the staff rude and slow but no one knows how to work the cash register except for the fat woman with a nasty attitude. She took 15 minutes just to check me out for 1 40 of keystone light. I Slid the $5 bill towards the register, told her to keep the change because I was in a hurry. She was standing by the oven and yelled at me in her nasty disgusting tone "you can't walk out of here with that". Confused I was like my $5 is right here I was just going to let you keep the change. She said you can't walk out of here with that without a bag. so then she came over and checked me out after I waited 20 f'in minutes. She was looking at me like I was scum-of-the-earth because I didn't want a brown paper bag. I would drive an extra 10 miles before I ever go back to Georgios. For one Fat Angelo's has the best pizza around this area and for 2 if I wanted to listen to a nasty white woman talk to me like I'm trash I would go visit my grandmother. Georgios needs to clean the place up it stinks so bad when you go in there for 10-15 minutes you come out smelling like the restaurant and it is not...

I will never be ordering from this place again even if it was the last choice on earth. We ordered 2 XL pizzas that both were messed up, toppings pouring off the side , pizza not even cut right. So we had called to let them know of theyre mistake…. They told us to NOT touch the pizza and that they would remake 2 more for us and bring it right away… they didn’t come for another hour after our phone call.. so yes.. some was eaten.. they had the nerve to call and leave a voicemail saying we are never allowed to order from there again!! We don’t want to! Any time we have ever ordered from Georgia’s, they are late , food cold… lucky for it to even be WARM 99% of the time.. and this is how they repay us? I myself work at a restaurant and any food that has been given out the door to the customer.. doesn’t get taken back. So what was the point of saying we would never order from there again when we weren’t planning to anyways !
