True Brew Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Lyndon

We stopped by this cozy little coffee house unexpectedly on a mini vacation when we decided we wanted to get some fun beverages. What a wonderful spontaneous decision it was!! Service was fantastic, with the staff all being very friendly and attentive, and they got our drinks done quickly. They were even very apologetic and quick to get my order right when they accidentally made the wrong thing, despite the fact that I told them I would be more than happy to take what they had made instead. My husband got an iced Americano that he said was just the right mix of bold flavors, and I got an orange sherbet milkshake which was oh so sweet and creamy and took me back to my childhood summers. The inside is very comfortable and inviting, with several cozy places to sit, and we particularly enjoyed the patio where we could be outside but still be a good temperature due to the shaded pergola overhead. Heard Great things about this place and couldnt wait to try it for their broccoli cheddar soup. When I got there they informed me they stopped selling soup for the summer. Dissapointed but no big deal. I felt like I was more of a burden to them than a customer. Figured it may have been an off day. Went back about a month later and got the same treatment. Food is great...when they have it in stock. Would love for this place to succeed because its a nice addition to the town and something different. But I'm not sure I will return.

Update: so I gave it another try and I have to say this time it was much better. Very pleasant. And this time I didnt have to change my order because they were out of something. Food...

Super sweet employees and the Raspberry Chipotle Turkey Panini... and the brownies are WONDERFUL! I also recommend the loaded potato soup, breakfast sandwich, and the chai affogato... ooh, and the white chocolate raspberry scones! Come to think of it the only things I haven't enjoyed here so far are the chicken noodle soup and spinach strawberry walnut salad. They aren't necessarily bad, just not suited for my taste buds because I don't like the soup consistency or red onion. The decor is relaxing and atmosphere inviting. I never have time to just go in and sit down but I would be a fantastic place to meet up with a friend. Definitely...
