I like to support our local businesses, but this was by far the worst tasting carry out I have ever had! All the food was right out of the freezer. Hash browns were processed triangle shaped and bland, sausage was poor tasting and some off brand brown and serve, the bacon was also bland and you could tell it was precooked freezer food! Even the toast was poor tasting, something with the butter or substitute was very greasy and gross! The cheese it the omelet was runny and the ham had so much water in it my tray was a watery mess!

The best thing about this place is the service. Our waitress was great! The place itself is a home town local place. So could use updating but it's clean and warm. The food it's hit or miss. I got the dinner buffet and some things were great like the chicken. Others were not. Best part about the food as it's atleast home in house it doesn't taste like freezer food.

Nice, small spot in Muir that has homestyle cooking. One of the best places to eat within a 30 mile radius. We got the western omlett, steak and eggs, side of fries, pop and kids pop for 40 dollars including tip. Portion sizes are big food is hot and well worth the money. Stay tuned for updated pics of more food, we def plan to go back.

You know, the food is good, the servers are pretty friendly and the restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere... but the prices are holding this place back from being great. There are no prices displayed on the new menus they have, and if you order - let's say a burger - you will be paying additionally for the fries. Every bill I've recieved has had a confusing charge for something that isn't labeled. I recently went with one other person and we ordered 3 entrees total and ended up paying $44. So if each entree is roughly $10, that's $14 in taxes, 2 drinks, credit charges, and whatever else. There are a lot of things you will pay extra for that you wouldn't normally expect to pay extra for. There's really no beneficial, honest reasoning to not be up front with the charges and prices on the menu. People want to know what they...

At a normal restaurant, prices are listed on the menu so one can see how much their meal would cost prior to ordering. But the Lumber Mill Inn is not a normal restaurant. Therefore, patrons will have no idea what their meal will cost until the bill comes. A meal can end up being about $15 per person, which is not bad for a good restaurant. But the Lumber Mill Inn is not a good restaurant. The club sandwich I ordered was woefully subpar, featuring bacon burnt to the point that I had to remove it from the sandwich in order for the rest to be edible. And “edible” perfectly describes the rest of the food. It is fine, but not worth $15 per person. I would advise traveling to a nearby municipality and eating at a restaurant that actually serves good food at a...

Wonderful staff, food, and atmosphere. Charming Home town feel. My cousin and I brought our 6 kids all under the age of 11. We got crayons and extra menus to color on. The food looked as lovely as it tasted. The chicken nuggets were flavorful and perfectly crisp. The burgers were hearty servings. I got crispy fried perch. Extra crispy fried potatoes just how I like. The menu was affordable. With an exciting variety. Breakfast to dinner. Tasty treats and desert options as well. I saw popcorn of many flavors and colors. I believe made in house. I highly recommend Lumber Mill Inn. I will be returning and...
