The two of us went on Saturday around 12:30pm. No one was in the lobby, Hostess seemed aggravated when she finally came to the front. She let us pick our table and she did get our drinks right away. Other staff were in and out of the room multiple times, checking on others that had their food already. Then two other tables near us, that were sat after us, had their orders taken. No one checked if we were ready, not even a "we'll be right with you" as we sat there for at least 10 minutes with our menus laying on the table. So apparently they didn't want our business and we left. First time and last time we will go there. No way to rate food, they never took our order. Edited to reply to response: the parking lot was NOT full and nowhere in my review did I mention how many vehicles were there, so I don't know where that information came from. If it had been too full we probably would not have stopped because my husband is a Veteran and doesn't like large crowds. I'm sorry you were short-handed but as a customer I do not know what is going on behind the scenes and if somebody had just mentioned "we will be right with you" or even mention that you're short-handed, we could have understood that situation instead of feeling we...
Read moreI will never eat here again. The food is absolutely gross and the service is terrible. We went Sunday afternoon before it was busy. My server was not nice. She acted as though we were an inconvenience to her. When she brought my food it was wrong and she had take it back and when she brought it back you could tell they scraped the cheese off the enchilada and poured the chili con carne on top of it and you could tell it was watered down. I cut the enchilada in the middle and the cheese was not melted it was shredded store bought cheese. The taco meat was grey, I tasted it and was gross and took the plate from my son. I spelt my glass over on the table, I had to get up and wipe the ice and water off my jeans and shirt and not one employee came to help me and I immediately asked for the check. Again they were NOT BUSY. I told the cashier that I spilled a glass of water and nobody came to help me clean it up and she actually told me someone is cleaning it now. The food is terrible, service is awful and the staff is rude. Paid $18 for a horrible meal that we...
Read moreThought we had a “gem” in the making but after 6-7 visits… this restaurant is backsliding big time. The elephant in the room are now the flies in the room. My wife and I swatted flies throughout our dinner and observed fly trap sticky stuff on the windows next to our table, see pics. Lesson here is BYOFS, bring your own fly swatter. Food has become mediocre Mexican and portion sizes are smaller than when they opened yet the prices keep going up. Wife ordered brisket tacos and when she had to ask for some lime and cilantro to dress them up, they charged another $1 bringing her 3 tacos to $13. Beef fajitas were rubbery/chewy. We’ll not return and expect to see them closing for good within 6-9 months. If only Taco Casa had free chips and salsa and a bar.
Update… The source of the fly infestation is concerning as we could not determine their source and thought there was a very good possibility they were coming from the kitchen. And no, other restaurants ARE NOT experiencing this level of fly infestation as you...
