We enjoyed our dinner - great atmosphere, good cocktails and the food was delicious. It’s a pretty restaurant with outdoor seating. We sat inside. We both had the tan line (barely aged rum drink) as cocktails which were really good, the mad bush dry rubbed wings as an appetizer and the lemon ricotta rigatoni for dinner. The pasta dish was SO good!!! But The server wasn’t that friendly or present but the hostess was super nice and came over to our table a few times to see how we enjoyed our food. All in all, we’d eat here again when back in VT.

Had a great meal outside during some great weather at Madbush. Both beers were excellent. I got the Ribs with salad and Green beans. Everything was wonderful. My partner got the fried chicken and she said it was awesome. Check them out next time your in the Mad River area. Also a water fall in the back of the property?? So cool

We had a nice and cute dinner after a long day of ski. The dishes were quite tasty and the portion was good to help us recover some energy. The service was fast in taking our orders and bringing the food.

Avoid this one. We we one of two tables in the place upon arrival. We ordered the cauliflower as an appetizer, chicken entree, and a burger entree.

Cauliflower: was fried, Fry oil was old/rancid and the fryer was clearly under-temp (the cauliflower was soaked in oil, which is a tell tale sign). Feta was flavorless and the cumin seeds were whole and raw. Took around 14 minutes to come out.

Chicken: one thigh, wildly overdone and dry. "crispy potatoes" were raw in the middle and drenched in syrup, green beans were also essentially raw. Took 43 minutes to come out.

Burger: ordered medium well, cooked way over well. Tasted like a frozen patty. Fries were over seasoned and fried in the same rancid oil as the cauliflower. Also took 43 minutes to come out.

Staff was pleasant enough but we saw no table touches, and were never asked how anything was. Prices were quite high as well (around 70USD for the above meal, with waters). Literally inedible food (raw potatoes, rancid oil), overpriced, and a very long ticket time. Not sure how this place has anywhere close to the rating it does (4.5 at time of review).

Easily the worst restaurant experience we've had this year.

Nice view of the...

Best place to go to get your mind and palate fulfilled. Start with the Pollinator. Gorgeous drink with Barr Hill Gin | Elderflower | Pineapple Vermont Cassis | Lemon. Not only beautiful but delicious as well. Next start with the Honey Cumin cauliflower. The sweet and spice pare so nicely together. If A veg isn’t your thang try the Tuna Tartare Tostado(yellow fin tuna, scallion ginger ponzu sauce, wakame, avocado cucumber, spicy mayo, rice noodles, sesame seeds) spectacular!! Now we are going in for the main course, I love the Nutty Pedal Salad. Vivid greens, with peanuts, crispy rice noodles and chicken grilled to perfection. Now slow down and yes you need dessert! Go for the moose. 2 lightly toasted marshmallows and then just divine chocolate moose. The servers there are wonderful and 2 of my favorites are Maggie D and Darren( hope I spelled that right) Darren always goes above and beyond to make your experience lovely and fun. The owner is delightful, serving food always with a kind hi and great smile!! Definitely recommend this...

Took a trip from New York to Vermont I was looking for a place to eat some great food. I checked the website and it said it was open till late.enu on website looked good. When I got there, they only had four food items on the menu (felt deceptive) I was very hungry so I decided to stay and order. However, the dish I ordered, they ran out of the cabbage slaw which I thought was very upsetting because I didn't like anything else on the menu. I decided to cancel the food order, but stayed for the drink that was delicious, by the way, but overpriced. Staff was friendly, but no true bar social etiquette: no music to set a mood, no true ambiance. I felt because of the inconvenience of not being able to get food, they should have given me a discount on the drink to make up for the...
