I was a regular at Blythestone before the management change so confused about the Mexican restaurant that sits on a farm? So I walked in confused but open minded about the new food offerings and concept. Needless to say, I was turned off immediately. The restaurant was busy and had 2 large groups already seated. So we sat down and placed our orders: 3 ribeye dinners, 1 filet dinner and a build your own burger. After sitting an hour already we were FINALLY informed by management that "we have some bad news but maybe good news... we don't have any more ribeyes available anywhere onsite, so we will "upgrade" your ribeye dinners to filet dinners for the price of a ribeye dinners. Sorry but I want a ribeye for a reason hence why I didn't order the filet in first place. I declined but others in my party accepted the switch. Ok that's fine but truthfully I feel like if you ran out of steaks and a ribeye is what I wanted then you should of said we are switching you to the filet and it's on us because it's our fault we ran out of ribeye's and sorry for your inconvenience and displeasure. That would have been a better experience. However you charged me full price for my entire dinner and when we asked about your approach we were told yes the owners feel you still owe the money for your food??? What?! Well if the owner said that and he is in the kitchen, then he should have come out and said something personally. This entire experience is a prime example of what to not do in customer service. If you have unhappy customers you do things to make it right. This is your brand and image and this is NOT a place I would want to go back to, to spend my hard earn dollars to patronize your business. Sorry but NOT SORRY...I will NEVER be back and I will NEVER recommend anyone I know to go to your restaurant. I would NEVER want any of my friends or family to experience what I did. Management did not make me feel like they appreciate my business. This place was an extreme...
Read moreMy guitarist and I were hired to provide acoustic music one evening for 34 Centenario. I live a good distance away and had never been there before. I ordered some dinner before we played and the food is just outstanding! I had the chicken flautas and the chicken just melted in my mouth.
We were there for a few hours and I got to see what others ordered. The steak seemed to very popular and, while I didn't try it, looked as good as the chicken I had.
The service was outstanding. They treated my guitarist and I very well and we're very attentive to the people there.
After we played I sat at the bar and talked to the bartenders and servers. They all seemed to be some of the nicest, genuine people you'd meet.
I understand that the place is under new management. They seem to have a really good thing going here. It's admittedly a bit out of the way but worth it.
It's an hour drive for me. I'm going to make it a point to get there...
Read moreOur group of 9 dined at 34 Centenario. I was able to make a reservation ahead of time. When we arrived, our table was ready and we were immediately greeted by our server. The service was amazing and so is the food! The salsas that come with the salsa trio appetizer are SO flavorful. My husband chose a side salad with his entree and it was huge and full of colorful veggies. The chilaquiles was such a large portion, I had to get a go box. It was full of delicious flavored chicken (not just bland shredded chicken there!) We were offered to order off the lunch or dinner menu which was great because my son enjoyed the kid's burger! Fresh fries were crunchy and good! Everything was delicious. ...
