The service is excellent, the food was brought to us at our table and the caboose rail car makes for a nice Pennsylvania railroad experience even if you are miles from any real rail line. But it’s nice to see Pennsylvania’s rich railroad history preserved in a small way. The hot dogs are local and obviously a blend of pork, beef and possibly poultry without casings. So there isn’t the snap or nice bite that I like. The Texas cheese fries are flavorful but not much more than fries with Maas produced chili and cheese wiz. The “footlong” is only about 8 inches, which is disappointing. I would have given them three stars but gave them the benefit of the doubt because of the fast friendly service. The ice cream is served in extraordinary amounts. A soft serve medium is enough for two people. The large is monstrously large.

Delicious ice cream with fast service. We love to visit when we're in town. They also have later hours than a competitor we used to visit, which is very convenient for late snackers. 2 qts made it back to NY in our cooler. Definitely recommend!

We came back again this year while vacationing in the Poconos. There are many gluten free options for dessert here. This year we got the Reese’s sundae and the snickers sundae and they were both amazing. This is a great place to go for gf dessert!

If you're looking for a delicious and refreshing treat, look no further than the ice cream stand! This place is a true gem, and I cannot recommend it enough.

First of all, the ice cream is simply incredible. From classic flavors like chocolate and vanilla to more unique options like donut ice cream sandwiches and samoa sundays, there is something for everyone here.

But it's not just the ice cream that makes this place so special - it's the overall experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always greeting you with a smile and making sure you feel right at home. And the atmosphere is just perfect for enjoying a cone or sundae on a hot summer day.

Whether you're a local or just passing through, the ice cream stand is an absolute must-visit. Trust me, you won't be...

I was looking for somewhere that served Hershey’s ice cream so I could get my daughter’s favorite ice cream to surprise her for her birthday. I e-mailed Caboose to ask if it was possible to order a 3 gallon tub of it as that is the only size the flavor she likes comes in. They got right back to me and said that it would be no problem. There was a miscommunication on my part about when I needed it and they called Hershey’s and had it added to their order last minute so I would have it on the day I wanted it. When I went to pick it up, the girls were very friendly and efficient in getting it for me. I’m not a regular customer as I live about half an hour away but I will definitely make a point of stopping there the next time I’m in the area. Great...
