Burger King — Restaurant in Madison

I forgot to order a coffee with my order at the drive thru. I asked the lady at the first window when she collected the money. She said I would be able to add it at the second window. At that time, there was no one behind me in line. When I reached the 2nd window cars were lining up behind me. I was told I would have to drive around again...ok, my mistake. I drove around. When I reached the window, I asked why she told me I could add on. The girl got real smart with me. Told me I should have read the sign. She also said that it was my memory issue not hers, right b4 closing the window. I was not given a receipt for either purchase, so.. Also, especially in this day and time, this girl's had long long nails with bright polish. I have been a server for many years and know that health dept does not allow finger nail polish because it flakes off and can end up in your food or in...

Tried 3 times telling them my order but the couldnt hear me so I pulled up to the window and wanted to order. I explained that they couldnt hear me so I pulled up and the MANAGER said, "Oh no we dont take orders at the window." Now I was MORE THAN WILLING to place my order (just to get it started cooking) and park and would have gladly walked in to pick it up if she would've given me time to speak! It's not my fault they couldnt hear me at the speaker.. needless to say until some better management steps up and shows some respectable customer service I wont be back.. and I'm sure most people who spend money with restaurants would like to be treated as if their hard earned money being spent is...

My review is directed at corporate primarily. The crispy chicken sandwich (almost $5) had been our favorite for a few years. HOWEVER a major change has occurred recently. The actually meat part of the patty is now about half as thick as previously. The breading is now almost as thick as the meat. With this change the cooking time must be adjusted. The patty is grossly over cooked at this location. It is now a dark charred patty with edges that you need to easily snap off prior to eating to avoid chemically altered food.
