Reverend Jims has always been a staple in my life growing up. I like the atmosphere every time i go there even over the years. Its always laid back so I can enjoy my time whether Im having a drink or some of that delicious food they have. When I was quite a bit younger my step dad would always play in his band down there and that was a huge blast. The bar seating is great its a nice big horseshoe bar so you dont have to lean over spilling someone else's drink so you can wave your money at the bartender you can just wave it in the air instead. I have gone there just to watch football games so I can see multiple games at the same time because even trying to watch one game around my house is almost impossible. The staff is super nice and friendly about 16 years ago they let me host a baby shower there and we had quite a few people show up to it bit the really nice part is that there is a huge area away from the bar that has plenty of space for that kind of event. There is two pool tables but even with those there is still enough space. Just recently my family had a spur of the moment get together due to an unfortunate situation and Reverend Jims let us gather everyone there on very short notice so it was awsome to not have to stress about a place big enough for everyone to be together in the middle of winter when it to cold to be outside for long. So I want to thank you and the staff at Reverend Jims Roadhouse for...
Read moreI went to MoMo's on NYE 2024. They had a live dj(s), Latin dancing, champaign, etc. I was disappointed in the price of the event, the security and overall organization. We paid $30 (cash only) at the door. While I understand businesses are probably going to charge more for NYE, the issue was that it was cash only (even though you could use your card at the bar) AND their ATM was broke. The person taking the cash at the door advised to use the ATM but no one seemed to care that it was broke. I felt security was a bit dramatic because of this. A couple of my friends didn't have enough cash. They had to go through the front door to get to the ATM. Security stood there making sure we all paid (which I understand) but saw for themselves that the ATM wasn't working and didn't seem to care. "It wasn't their problem" but they had no problem escorting some of my friends out because they didn't have enough cash. I also didn't see where in MoMo's advertising for the event that it was going to cost $30. The customers ahead of me also made a comment about the price.
Cash only but no option to get additional cash because of broke ATM inside. Overly dramatic security. No one advising that the ATM was broke once they knew of this issue.
I've been to MoMo's events before and they...
Read moremost recent experience /update 3 I keep going back and I've finally had a great experience. The bartender lady finally got some much needed help and this helped a lot with the wait times and service. I may have left my wallet and when I called was top notch with the customer service. Toys interaction is going a long way to make me more comfortable and I'm starting to see why people love this place.
original review * I paid 15$ for this burger handful of fries and can of soda. The burger was cooked right the bun was soft but i was disappointed with paying extra $3 for this amount of fries. Bar for older people music tends to be rock classics (currently listening to barracuda).
2nd update * came to bar stood and was acknowledged told would be back was left standing for almost 15 minutes before i gave up. Almost no staff. Horrible service. Others who walked up were able to order and receive orders before i was looked at again. I will not recommend this place ever.
3+ hours later bartender came to my table to apologize and o said it was too late. She stormed off and got her phone to take a picture of me. If it wasn't for bullseye pool league i would never step foot in this...
