Let's start with context. I am giving this five stars across the board, not because it is a traditional five-star restaurant, but because, all in all, it's the best place you are going to find on a very long stretch of road and it was surprisingly delightful. The dining area was clean. The menu ( I uploaded pictures) had good variety. While there were no stated vegetarian options, my wife was able to order the Indian Taco with extra vegetables rather than chili. Over half of the people in the restaurant ordered the Indian Taco which is the the specialty. Fair warning that the difference between the half size and full size is significant. The proprietor looked at me, smiled, and asked whether I had eaten there before when I ordered a full size Indian Taco. Then my wife laughed at me when it was delivered to the table 😁! This is not a fancy restaurant, and it almost felt like you were eating in the proprietor's home. There is a large TV in the dining room. That was tuned to AMC and we watched the conclusion of Rambo II while we ate ( This was worth five stars for atmosphere all by itself 🤣!!!). The Indian Taco is fry bread with chili and vegetables on top of it. The fry bread was amazing and I took an order with me which I ate the next morning heated in the microwave with the provided butter and cinnamon sugar. Don't miss this opportunity but also don't show up like you are a food and...

Traveling south on 97 this was the first place we came across that was open for some coffee and breakfast. It was a Tuesday morning and had one car in the parking lot when we arrived. The gentleman inside working did not seem like he was having a good day, he kind of made us feel like we were an inconvenience, turns out he was the only one working. Reminds me of the old side of the highway greasy spoon type restaurants that you don't see much anymore. Lots of choices on the menu. Coffee was good, strong and hot. Heard him tell others that the espresso machine was not working, was impressed they would even have one. We ordered a porkchop breakfast and corned beef hash, both with over easy eggs and toast. It did take extra time for the meal to get delivered (poor guy had several people come in for coffee to go and two more tables to seat). I have to give him a giant thumbs up though, our food was great, potatoes were not greasy, eggs were perfectly over easy, pork chops were tender and neither of us had complaints. By the time we paid and left he was feeling better I think as he was more talkative. I would stop again if...

I'm not sure gave this a 5 but this is no 5. Imagine e a run down Denny's that's not been updated in 10 years. Now, imagine pealing paint on the ceiling around the vents, glasses which may be clean on the inside but have grime underneath which comes off with a napkin and a fingernail. Plastic "wrapped" tables with old photos under them that are bubbling due to age and wear. Now, inflation is here for sure but 35.00 (tip inc.) For fish and chips and a burger and fries is exorbitant. Cookie cutter fish, no hand breading or anything special here and a burger that could have come from any fast food joint. This wasn't a terrible experience as we've had much worse but sitting down, ordering, and come ting thet if we get sick at least we'd be sick together isn't the best thing when anticipating your coming meal. Staff was very friendly and big smiles even though both orders were wrong and again,...

The people were great and the food was alright, I got the Indian taco, which was huge and made with chili, cheese, lettuce, tomato's, sour cream and salsa, flavor was what you would expect. My boyfriend ordered the steak and eggs breakfast. The steak was cooked perfectly as well as the hash browns and eggs but everything was extremely bland, definitely could have used a little more flavor. The mens bathroom was not clean and had a weird sewage/mildew smell according to my boyfriend. Women's bathroom was well kept however it also had a weird smell. All in all not a horrible place to stop if youre just looking for a quick bite to eat, and the people working there are fast and friendly.

Very rustic dining experience. One person serving as waitress, hostess and shake maker. Large tv in dining room playing an adult comedy and with a Xbox 360 connected. I don't know why??? Expansive diner menu with fun pancakes for the kids. The star of the show is the fry bread. Delicious by itself with butter and cinnamon, try it as a base for taco salad in the "Indian taco". Warning, only get a half serving unless you are a competitive eater. Ultimately loved this dining experience just inside the warm springs Indian reservation.
