Esposito's Pizza and Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Mahwah

Got very hungry saw this place on the cornor. Stopped in for s few slices. Walked in and got a great welcoming. Was shocked as most places nowadays forget to say hello and thank you. Asked about specialty slices and received a very clear description of each and a few recommendations. The staff popped my Margarita and BBQ chicken in the oven and now it gets weird, engaged me in conversation. Was this happening in other places you stand at the counter and awkwardly look at the floor. I was not the only person in the restaurant either. The place was clean, organized and had covid 19 guidelines in use even at the counter. My slices done paid a very reasonable price and left. 3 staff members said good bye.. Back in the car smelled so good I sat in lot and ate 2 very very good slices. I will be back for sure. Would have given a 5 star but saving that one for an entrée. Well done...

We stopped to grab food after taking a hike at Campgaw Mountain. We couldn’t be happier that we did! The Chicken Caesar wrap and Buffalo chicken wrap hit the spot! The food was well made and seasoned. The fries, thin cut, were crispy and perfectly salted, no taste of grease or oil. The Escarole with olive oil was a much appreciated side. I found this place because I googled "best pizza in Mahwah." We stopped passing through towards the end of a long car ride with two small children, and it was great. The food was good, the espresso was good (YAY!), and the wait staff was kind to our children, and seemed amused by their antics. I would definitely go back there if I was in Mahwah and needed a quick meal in a family restaurant environment. Our waiter also sent us to a near by park, which had one of the best playgrounds...
