I have to share what a great experience I had at this Subway in Maiden! Iâve only been here 1-2 other times before but tonight was awesome. The staff behind the counter were so nice. Apparently the woman was still in training as it was her first day. The man taking my order helped her anytime she needed it and complimented her on a job well done. The customers ahead of me asked for a small drink. Since they were out, they were charged for the size small but given a bigger cup. The young man helping me offered suggestions anytime I was unsure of what I wanted. Next thing I knew, I was pulling my wallet out to pay and he said it would be covered. I offered multiple times to pay for it, to pay it forward or to at least give him a tip but he kept insisting it was fine. That the world needs more kindness like what I had shown while the girl was training. It was such a small act, but it made my day. The world needs more people like them. I will definitely be coming back! Subway Corporate, if youâre reading this, please bring back the pizzas! While the pepperoni meatball was good, a pizza wouldâve made the...
Read moreThe food is always good at Subway, but some of the staff at this location need to be either let go, or trained on customer service.
While traveling for work, a group of three of us went to this location on 7/4/19. After ordering and receiving our subs, which 2/3 of us already began eating, we were told that their credit card machine had just broken. We told them we did not have cash, but would get some. We sat and ate our lunch on our limited lunch break without issue. As we departed to get cash, one of the Subway employees came out to take pictures of us and our license plate. They never asked what we were doing and then he began lecturing us about how we should have put the subs down if we could not pay.
I have 3 major issues with this:
I recommend training your employees, or simply terminating...
Read moreThe last few times I have been to this location there has been a younger girl and guy working and she is just rude. She makes it quiet clear that she does not want to do her job. They close at 10 and I went in at a few mins before 9. I ordered 1 super simple sub and the guy making my sandwich didn't ask me what I wanted or anything. Just stood there looking at me..so I started giving my order. The whole timâ¶â¶e the girl is making comments about how 40,000 people come in right before closing and that she wants to just walk over and lock the doors. The guy puts everything on my sandwich and he asks why they are always running out of mayo so quick and she looks at me and says it's all these last minute people wanting folod. It's an hour before closing so definitely not last minute! They had most of the lights off in the store making it look closed and she would just not stop complaining..every single time I've seen her working that's her attitude. I will drive the extra 15 mins to any other subway...
