Club Casa Cafe — Restaurant in Maine Township

Sooooo disappointed with our experience. We have eaten here several times but we will not be dining here again. We ordered food and it took 45 minutes to come out….quesadillas and wings do not take that long. Waitress never came around for a drink refill or to check on us. I had to ask the bus boy where our food was and then it magically appeared by him less than 5 mins later. Said wings would be out soon, they take longer but they are on the APPETIZER MENU! My husband ordered boneless wings. They came out as regular wings. He was starving so he ate some of them. They asked if he still wanted the boneless. We said no. They brought out a platter of boneless anyway. We had to ask for the check after again NO one checked on us. They charged us for his meal and refused to take it off the bill. Said they gave us 2 meals and then said they didn’t appreciate the way they were being “talked to”. I was so controlled it hurt. 🤣 my husband could see our waitress sitting at the bar fraternizing with another patron and basically ignored us after taking our order.

When I asked to speak to the manager the person I was speaking to claimed they were the manager. 🤯 God help this place if that’s how you treat...

I can't say enough about how great it was to have our mom's celebration of life luncheon at Club Cassa. When you're "distracted with grief," as the saying goes, the last thing you feel like you can focus on is how to create a welcoming, honoring space for the many people who want to be there. Vanessa and Kyle were incredible to work with - so patient whenever we needed to change the menu - so smart in making their suggestions - and so experienced, clearly, in knowing which options were likely going to be the best ones for our guests. The food was delicious, and we were impressed by the range of choices on the menu -- ones that gave every pocketbook and option it could handle. The atmosphere was light, comfortable, and peaceful, and the wait staff were so friendly and professional - we felt loved and supported by everyone!

If I could give zero stars as a rating for this place I would do it in a minute! My friends and I have been going to Club Casa once a month for the last five years and have enjoyed gathering around their large round table. In all that time we've never had a single bad experience with the food or the staff.

However last month we made reservations, but the day before we were due to arrive, we were told a party had been booked and they couldn't accommodate us. Now this month they did it again. When we made reservations they checked to make sure nothing was booked for that day. Just got a call saying the manager booked a funeral party for that day and we couldn't have our table. They offered to move us to a high table in the bar. I told them that wouldn't work as we are in our 80s and asked if they could move our table to the bar area, but was told no.
