El Parian Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Malvern

The food was great (as always). My wife had the mixed fajitas and I had seafood fajitas (both were amazing). The service is always fast and courteous. I only have a couple of critiques: This visit only, the setup came quite a bit before the fajitas, so the beans and rice were colder then we'd like by the time the reminder came. Not a huge deal for me, as I usually start with the beans and rice, but my wife would have preferred less of a gap between. I will note, they were quite busy. The music sounds repetitive and sometimes by the sound of it, they may have scrates on their CDs. Nothing major, but when it's loud and the conversation stops, it can be a bit much.

Both minor items and it's overall always a great experience. We live in Benton, and consider it the best Mexican food...

Chips and hot sauce were the best about the visit. They sent out the wrong order, and when they brought it back, it looked like they threw it together. Sour cream and guacamole are supposed to be a compliment to the meal. It looked like it was the main meal it did come with the order. But they put so much on top that you couldn't taste anything else, I had to scrape most of it off. There was more of that than the lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and meat put together. There was no pride in putting the meal together. There was nothing special about the taste, was very blan. The waiter was very tentative to his tables. I was from out of town and will be coming through again, but I will check out...

Like another reviewer, I am also a vegetarian. Came up to Malvern helping a family member move from Houston. We have some awesome Mexican food and Tex Mex down there, so I honestly wasn't expecting much when we turned into a restaurant with a frog on it's sign. I was very surprised to see a vegetarian section on the menu! I ordered the "vegetarian quesadilla" and while kinda turned into a taco(from the massive amount of filling) I loved it. Standard refried beans/rice/guacamole salad that you find at every mexican restaurant (not bad, but nothing to write home about) Good service, we got tatted dude helping us. I'd compare this to one of the better Mexican...
