I wasn't sure this was a restaurant at first. Glad I went so far out of the way to find it though. The seafood is very good with homemade tartar sauce. Fries and tots frozen and bland. Good value for the money. The ordering process is a little awkward... I pulled up to the window and was started when a girl appeared but didn't say anything to me. I asked if I was at a restaurant and she said yes. Awkward silence. I asked what food I could purchase. She handed me a paper menu without saying anything. I placed my order and was told to reverse and park. 20 minutes later, the girl waved at me and I pulled back to the window to receive the food. This place has the best hamburgers ever. They use real ground beef and make each patty fresh. The fried pickles are to die for. Best ive ever ate. Everything I have tried here was so delicious. I make it a point to go here when I'm in Mamou. The only thing that isnt too good is that they are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. I live 2hours away from here and stopped here coming from chicot State Park. It was about a 11 minute drive but it was well worth the drive and wait. The GPS threw me off a little bit but the locals are quite familiar with them and stated that they were after the carwash. We couldn't seat down which I was okay with.
