Romeo's Pizza — Restaurant in Manalapan Township

Hello, my name is Wendy O. I recently visited here from Rohde Island. Now, I will tell you this, the pizza is no Rhode Island pizza. Owners were rude & grumpy, and had no customer respect. We are seated around 6:13 PM on a Tuesday night. We had to wait 13 minutes for our waiter to clean up our table. The cleaning supplies smelled like lemon dish soap mixed with chlorine. Okay, once we got to the table, we immediately got served tap water. We order mozzarella sticks so, my daughter Kyleigh could play with the kids playing tag around our table with cheese hanging out of their dirty mouths. I asked the kind waiter where these kids parents were. The restaurant was basically empty with doordash people coming in & out. The owners white Shih Tzu ate my daughters mozzarella sticks and Kyleigh started balling her eyes out. After this she was dancing around to “Body Language” by Queens because the restaurant was playin that skunkish music in the restaurant. My friends and I come here every time we come to NJ. There has not been a time in the last 3-4 years where we haven’t made a stop at this amazing pizzeria / restaurant. Romeo’s has the BEST white slice and cheesesteak pizza I have ever eaten. I was born and raised in Bklyn, NY where they have the worlds BEST pizza. When I first ate here I was sure the owner MUST be from NY, but no. He just simply knows how to make great pizza and great food overall. Speaking of the owners, Rino and his wife are two of the loveliest people I’ve ever met. They are kind, generous, funny and extremely professional. Highly recommended. My go to place for pizza and Italian take -out.

However, this weekend I called because I was having about 25 people over to the house unexpectedly - in about an hour.

They came through with flying colors. I ordered two trays of pasta - penne vodka and spaghetti with garlic and oil (we had a vegan in the house). Also, two chicken dishes - parmigiana and Francais, along with 2 pizzas - oh and chicken wings.

It was delivered to my house in 1 hour hot and fresh and EVERYONE commented on how delicious the food was.
